2020 Jan 19 Poetry Reading

Grace Carras & Jay Artemis Hull, two dynamic and gifted young poets, will be the featured readers at the Old Town Poetry Series on Sunday, Jan. 19, from 3 to 5 PM at MICA Gallery, 1210 Turner St. in Lansing’s Old Town. An Open Mic session will take place after the featured readers, with participants invited to throw their names in the bowl at the front door. Free refreshments. Free parking on the street and in the large surface lot on the south side of the intersection of Cesar Chavez Avenue & Turner Street. Suggested donation: General public $5. Members & students free.

Lansing Poetry Club

You’re invited to the November meeting of the poetry club where the members will write, discuss poetry and end with an open mic!

Lansing Poetry Club is the longest running poetry club in the Lansing area. This group of writers, poets and poetry lovers meet on the third Sunday of every month at MICA Gallery to write and discuss poetry.

There is always an open mic and these meetings are free and open to the public.
