DESCRIPTION:The performers of DANCE Lansing: A Community Dance Project perform monthly at MICA Gallery. After the performance there will be an open discussion with the dancers and choreographers. \nAs we enter into the New Year this performance will use movement to celebrate love. \nDance Lansing is a collaboration with goals of building a diverse community of dancers to enrich the creative performance and development opportunities for area choreographers and dancers\, and to increase audience appreciation and understanding of modern and contemporary dance. The foundation of this collaboration is a partnership of Happendance\, Lansing Community College Performing Arts\, Greater Lansing Academy of Dance\, Greater Lansing Ballet Company\, MSU Department of Theater\, MSU Orchesis Dance\, Everett High School Dance\, Keys to Creativity and MICA. \nRSVP and more info available here. \n
